Constantin is Director Sustainability Consulting Manufacturing & Electronics at Sphera (formerly thinkstep) in Stuttgart. Through the unique portfolio of software, data and consulting expertise Sphera leads organizations to sustainable success and helps them to create a safer, more sustainable and productive world. As a principal consultant Constantin coordinates subjects such as Circular Economy (CE), Ecodesign and Scope 1,2, 3 solutions, sustainable electric and electronics as well as sustainability assessment of materials, products and systems. He provides track record since ’97 on solutions for environmental and sustainability assessment first in electronics and today in various sectors such as metals, machine tool industry and End-of-Life sector. In particular he is responsible for project and strategy development around sustainability aspects of electric and electronic components, products, equipment and systems, machine tools, power tools, automotive equipment and home and living appliances.

He has a PhD in mechanical engineering and over 25 years of experience in strategic Ecodesign, Carbon Footprint/ LCA and EPDs, integration of product related sustainability aspects into company processes and profitable business applying Life Cycle Thinking and Circular Economy principles.
