Georgios is the CEO and a director of Hellenic Copper Mines LTD (www.hcm.com.cy). Georgios is a mining engineer and also holds an MBA degree and an MSc. in Environmental Science. Georgios worked on the Skouriotissa hydrometallurgical project with Hellenic Copper Mines LTD (HCM) from 2006 until today as a Mine Superintendent, a Mine Design Engineer, a Mine Planning Engineer and as the Gold Ore Crushing and Agglomeration Plant Manager. Georgios has extensive hands on experience managing open pit mines for gold and copper including contractor management, mine design, planning, scheduling and optimization, combined with experience in gold, nickel – laterites and copper hydrometallurgy, metallurgical research experience, European research programs experience and project management experience in process plant design and construction.
