Julie-Ann is the founder and Managing Director of Really Green Credentials – www.rgcuk.com, which commenced in 2009, and she has more than 20 years’ experience in the waste management and local government sector and is a key player in the on-going development and implementation of the WEEE and Battery and Accumulator regulations across the EU. She is acknowledged as a leading technical adviser on producer responsibility-led principles and of the WEEE treatment and preparing for re-use standards having been an active member of the CENELEC WEEE working groups, and in the general treatment and recycling technology, transfrontier shipments and waste management arena.

Prior to working in the waste industry, Julie-Ann was the Chief Executive of two UK municipal authorities, which enabled her to also develop specialist knowledge and services for non-profit trade and other professional associations.

At the start of 2022 Julie-Ann was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer for the European Electronics Recyclers Association (EERA) – www.eera-recyclers.com
