Dr Julie Hollis is Secretary General of EuroGeoSurveys, a non-profit organization representing 37 European geological survey organizations with a combined workforce of more than 10,000. She has almost 20 years experience in senior management in government geoscience organizations – including in 3 geological survey organizations – in Australia, Greenland, and Europe, and spanning mineral resources, geological mapping, geoscience strategy, and data delivery.

Julie earned her Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney (1996) and Ph.D. in Geology at the University of Edinburgh (2000). She also has a Master of Science Communication and Public Engagement (2020).
