D3.1 Extended Waste Stream Composition Assessment to Enable Secondary Raw Material Assessment

This report focuses on future updates and the strategic integration of composition data within recoverability assessments. A recoverability assessment was executed for different critical raw materials in the waste streams in scope to identify how composition data supports recoverability assessments, and which composition data parameters are most relevant for future evaluations. Furthermore, the report formulates conclusions and recommendations for improving composition data reporting in alignment with emerging circular economy policies and digitalisation trends. These recommendations aim to facilitate future updates of the Urban Mine Platform and enhance its role in supporting strategic decisions for increased critical raw material recovery from secondary sources.
